Boats line up to Spice it
Up in Grenada!
Island Water World Grenada Sailing Week 30
Jan – 4 Feb 2017
Whistler, Category 5, Spirit of Juno, Jaguar,
Phoenix and The Blue
Peter have set the ball rolling, and are registered for GSW
2017. To join them, please click here
to register online with Yacht Scoring.
Although there is some time to go, we remind you that the early
registration fee of US$90 is only valid until 30 November
2016, after which the cost increases to US$130. If you are having any
difficulty registering online, please contact us.
On the organizational front the experienced race committee team from
Trinidad will again be supporting James Benoit, our Principal Race
Officer, and Tim Wright will be dodging plunging bows again to get
his amazing racing action shots.
Grenada Yacht Club in St George's, seen above, will be the welcome
venue. The Club is very central, with easy access to Customs &
Immigration, marine services and supplies, and not far from the start
line off Grand Anse for the racing that begins on 31 Jan. To welcome
you, the Regatta Office will be open on the weekend before Monday 30
Jan, the day on which Final Registration and the Skippers Briefing
take place.
Secret
Harbour Marina in Mt Hartman Bay, seen below,
will be the second and final venue. The last race on 1 Feb will take
the boats on a scenic course around Point Saline and into Mt Hartman
Bay. Sailors will then enjoy a relaxing lay day followed by two days
of racing off the south coast and a great final prize-giving party on
4 Feb up on the hill at the Secret Harbour pool house, a premier
Grenada party venue.
